Our All Stars Cricket programme is the perfect introduction to cricket for young players aged 5 to 8. Sessions focus on fun, teamwork, movement and basic cricket skills in a friendly and inclusive environment. Designed for beginners, All Stars helps children build confidence, make friends and enjoy being active while learning the game in a safe and supportive setting.

Our new Under 10s softball team provides young players with their first experience of team cricket in a positive and encouraging environment. Training sessions focus on batting, bowling, fielding and teamwork while ensuring every child enjoys the game and develops confidence on and off the field. Whiteley Village CC is proud to offer cricket for all abilities with an emphasis on enjoyment and participation.

The Under 12s squad continues to develop core cricket skills while introducing players to more competitive match situations. Coaching sessions are designed to improve technique, teamwork and game awareness while maintaining a fun and supportive atmosphere. Players are encouraged to grow in confidence, challenge themselves and enjoy representing Whiteley Village Cricket Club.

Our Under 13s team combines skill development with competitive cricket in a welcoming club environment. Players continue to improve their batting, bowling and fielding abilities while learning tactical aspects of the game. With qualified coaches and excellent facilities, Whiteley Village CC helps young cricketers progress while enjoying every moment on the pitch.

The Under 15s squad is designed for players looking to further develop their cricket in a structured and enjoyable environment. Training sessions focus on advanced skills, match awareness and teamwork, helping players prepare for higher levels of junior and senior cricket. Our coaches encourage players to work hard, support teammates and play the game in the right spirit.

Our Under 17s team are offered regular training and competitive T20 games against other local clubs as well as plenty of opportunity to get involved in the senior game which many have already taken advantage of by now.   We continue to develop individual skills and match experience. Players benefit from quality coaching, competitive fixtures and opportunities to integrate with senior squads at the club. Whiteley Village CC prides itself on creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where young players can thrive both on and off the field.

Whiteley Village Cricket Club welcomes girls of all experience levels to enjoy cricket in a supportive and inclusive environment.  Currently we have mixed teams across the age groups but we are planning to broaden the cricket we offer and aim to offer girls only teams next season. Girls and boys currently train together with sessions focusing on fun, skill development, teamwork and confidence while encouraging participation and enjoyment of the game. Whether new to cricket or already experienced, players are given the opportunity to learn, improve and be part of a fantastic club community.

Junior Development is very important to us at Whiteley Village CC and we take pride in the fact we provide additional coaching and match opportunities for young players keen to improve their cricket skills and confidence and enter into the senior game. Sessions focus on technical development, teamwork and game understanding while ensuring cricket remains enjoyable and accessible to everyone. The programme helps players progress through the junior section and prepare for future opportunities within the club.
